My name is Onno de Jong. I'm the founder and owner of Silverton Images, a small animation studio specializing in 2D animation, storyboarding, illustration, and color theory. With a background as an art instructor and experience in 2D animation, CG storyboarding, and character design for feature films, TV shows, and streaming platforms, I'm dedicated to bringing meaningful stories to life through compelling characters on screen.

In addition to my work in animation, I teach visual storytelling part-time at VanArts Institute in Vancouver—a role I’m deeply passionate about. Sharing my knowledge and experience has become a meaningful purpose in my life, and it's incredibly rewarding to see the next generation of artists grow and thrive in the fields of animation and storytelling.

In my free time, I enjoy creating art, writing short stories, and exploring the principles of theatre lighting and color theory.
